This coin is one of the most attractive seated liberty dollars we have ever offered. When tilted in the light you can clearly see this coin has earned its' PL designation by NGC. This absolutely gorgeous coin has been approved by CAC for quality. This New Orleans mint date holds a total mintage of only 360,000.

Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 7,500 have survived in all grades today. It is uncertain exactly how many have survived with proof like surfaces today such as this one. However, based on how many have been certified we suspect this number is less than ten. This coin is one of only two graded in any grade having earned the proof like designation by NGC.
